Q. What is PCRental Agent®? A. PCRental Agent® provides the ability to remotely lock and secure your rental inventory preventing anyone from using it which stops unauthorized access to the device running the Agent. It is meant for RTO Stores allowing them to disable and lockdown nonpaying customers or disable missing electronic devices with a message.
Q. Why should I buy PCRental Agent®? A. PCRental Agent® is the most powerful monitoring and lockdown available. It is specifically designed for the RTO Industry. All our tools are intelligently designed to be both effective and easy to use. Our product is the only product that lets you remotely monitor without having to physically access it. You can prevent your products from being used until your customer pays you or returns the item. Our web based interface is user-friendly and can be conveniently accessed from anywhere in the world.
Q. Is this legal?
A. Yes, absolutely.
Q. Should I tell customers about PCRental Agent? A. That’s up to you; some rent-to-own dealers like to make their customers aware of it thinking this will help defer them from doing acts that would force them to activate the Agent. Others don’t reveal it.
Q. What payment methods do you take for ordering?
A. You can order all the packages online and pay for the items with a major credit card or asked to be billed.
Q. Will you take a PO or will you bill me?
A. Yes, both. To use a PO/Billing option just order online and when you checkout choose to purchase with a PO#. Enter your PO# and we will bill you for the product you ordered. We ship just as though you'd paid with a credit card and you will have 15 days to pay the invoice.
Q. How do you suggest we start out with your product? A. We suggest you signup all your stores and let us get a package out to all your stores. It takes a few weeks to get it into your inventory and you don’t want other stores waiting on the sideline while you prove the product works. It works, you just need to get your stores executing, implement your policies for disabling, and holding the Stores accountable for installing it. If they don’t install it, they’re not going to be able to disable the device. You can not install it after the customer has gone past due, you have to do that upfront. We will work with you and help train your staff. It is critical you get execution down and we want you to be successful. We also offer a Training Class where we will train your store managers; we provide tools to not only install our product but also instruct them on how to get your items ‘Rent Ready’.
Q. Is there any long-term obligation?
A. No, you can cancel the service at any time.
Q. Is the Agent easy to install?
A. Yes, the Agent is very easy to install as the installer guide walks you through the steps.
Q. Do I need any special tools like a soldering iron?
A. No, we provide you everything and have instructions that walk you through the steps.
Q. Does the Agent work if the customer does NOT have Internet? A. Yes, and you can customize this to your needs.
Q: Can PCRental Agent be removed? A. No.
Q. Does the Agent work with Windows 7? A. Yes, we support any device that uses Windows 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003, and Windows 2000. |
